In light of experiencing my first horrendous workshop, I wanted to share this collection at HuffPost called 5 Meanest Book Reviews Ever. Don’t forget to check out some of the reader comments where additional mean reviews are pointed out on writers as prestigious as Walt Whitman. I feel better knowing that even the best sellers and classic writers were stomped on by self-righteous asses.
I’ll discuss my review at a later time. Let’s just say the one thing I’d been worried about the most was not even mentioned. But the one thing that I’ve been told for more than 10 years of workshop is my greatest strength – that got ripped to shreds. Off to enjoy my 30 birthday (also need an entry on turning 30). ‘Til later.

Oh, wow. I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you do write a little about this workshop/critique when you are able. And don’t take everything to heart. I’ve been there in receiving a rough critique, and time always helps. In the meantime, have a fabulous bday!
