The Three Tabby Troublemakers live in Maryland where they plot new schemes to conquer the world, sneak tastes of my tea, enjoy stalking squirrels through the window, and sleeping on their humans’ chests during napping hours.
Guinness
Nickname: Mr. Guin, Guinny, Guin-Guin
Birthday: May 2006
Background: Born in the rafters of a barn and the sole survivor of his litter. He spent his first 5 months in a no-kill shelter and foster care with a very sweet old lady, until he purred his way into my heart.
Looks: Grey and black tabby with a ginger belly. Big handsome lagoon green eyes.
Favorite Past-Times: Playing fetch and return, lazy naps in front of the window, squirrel stalking, opening doors and cabinets, and bath time. Loves the bathroom, particularly for the water and will wait as long as it takes for drops to come out of the faucet.
In His Own Words: I’m not fat, I’m just a big handsome man-cat. Oh, and by the way, “No Scouts Allowed.”
Scout
Nickname: Scouter Pout, Little Goblin King, and Baby Cat
Born: Late Sept./early Oct. 2006
Background: Born under the porch of my former coworker who took Scout to work one day back in December 2006. I had a picture of Guinness up on my cubical wall. The coworker left Scout to fall asleep on my keyboard. I think Scout knew this is an adorable way to win a human’s heart, and of course I couldn’t resist the little fur ball. It took a lot of coaxing, but M finally let me bring Scout home.
Looks: Medium fur, gray and black tabby. White eye liner and white lips. Short.
Favorite Past-Times: Snoozing on human laps, stealing shinys and plastics, being held, climbing into boxes and bags, planning escapes, giving humans the guilt trip (he knows how to pout), licking fuzzy blankets.
In His Own Words: You know I’s is cute. I’s is so cute that you can’t stay mad at me [lick, lick, nose kiss].
Sonny Pie
Nickname: Son-Son, Son, Kitten, Cutie Pie
Born: September 2007
Background: We can only guess that he got lost from his fur-mommy in the back woods of northern Harford County. He must have been starving for days and running from all kinds of big scary animals in the dark. He was cold and skinny as bones. Then one night in November 2007, he must have heard M and I leaving my parents’ house and started to cry. We dragged him out of his hiding place under my car and took him inside to give him a bowl of food and milk. He ate so fast that he choked. We calmed him down and called him cutie pie all night long. He road home with M and me.
Looks: Gray and black stripes and lots of white patches, including a small blaze of snow on his nose that everyone adores.
Full white chest.
Favorite Past-Times: Playing with all the toys, eating, greeting everyone with a “merry little trill” as I like to call it, eating, bath time, squirrel stalking, fetch, eating.
In His Own Words: Treats?
The Three Tabby Troublemakers:

_____
Austin, NJ: This is the three tabby troublemakers’ cousin, Austin. He’s an orange tabby and a polydactal living in NJ with my brother and his wife. He’s named after one of their favorite spots in the U.S., Austin TX. This little guy has a lot of spunk and, ginger names aside, the tabbies are proud to call him family.

Austin
Reece, B-more MD: Below is a cousin of the tabbies. Her name is Reece and she’s a Baltimore City Westie, keeping Canton/Highlandtown hip. Reece is the life of a party.

Azzy Girl, Harford Co MD: Below is Aunt Azzy, whom the tabbies have never met, but have heard lots of good stories about (like her fearlessness of dogs and the old days when she would be caught playing in the snow). Aunt Azzy is about 11 or 12 years old these days and quite a gal. My brother and I found her as the runt of a stray litter in our woods when we were just kids. She’s been a blessing and a joy ever since. She still lives with my parents in northern Harford, MD.

Azzy
Spinner, Harford Co MD: And this is Spinner, the cutest Yorkie you’ll ever meet. He lives with my Aunt Carmela in Forrest Hill, MD. This is a picture of him helping us paint our house when we moved in last year.
