Living Room - Before
After: No more lazy blue…we painted the living room Interactive Cream (SW), which has a soft buttery glow. It looks amazing when the sun comes through the box window in the morning. I had these great fans installed to give the room character, and made the window seat comfy with pillows and fluffy blankets.

I placed ladder bookcases (JC Penney) on either side of our sofa set. The sofas have ornate wood work that give them a vintage feel. They’re super comfy and only cost me a total of $600 brand new.

The side tables and coffee table are a few years old and cracked (poor make). They have cute wicker baskets though. Still working on decorating…picture is too small I think.

Kitchen - Before
After: The kitchen was more of that boring blue…and wallpaper! So we worked our butts off to strip it all down and paint it Svelte Sage (SW). It’s not the color I wanted…I was planning on a warm terracotta, but was talked out of it. The sage is pretty, but I may still change it in the future. I had to paint over the blue grout in the tile – it was horrid. Now it is white and you can barely tell the tile is gray.
Kitchen - After (still in the works - plan to paint cabinets white and update utilities)
We need nicer window dressings…but it is hard to find something classy that the cats won’t destroy.

I love these pendant lights from Lowes. They were the last ones on the shelf. As for the table set…I’m working on saving money for the Ashely Emory set.
