Granola and Fruit Cup

After spending too much money buying granola fruit cups from Starbucks on a weekly basis, I decided to make my own. My version of this delicious and healthy recipe avoids the added syrups and sticks to the natural sweetener made by bees.

Ingredients:

Granola (Bare Naked Vanilla Almond)

Yogurt (Stony Fields Organic Fat Free French Vanilla)

Honey (local, wild flower)

Fruit (chopped strawberries or mixed berries or chopped bananas)

Mix these all together and you have a healthy meal that will keep you feeling full for hours.  You can decide how much of each to add to your bowl, but I typically use 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of granola to 1/2 of the yogurt cup.

If you are taking this to work with you, add the granola, honey, and fruit to a portable food container. Tote the yogurt separate to avoid soggy food and mix them all together later when you’re ready to eat.
